In Home Consultation

Every home is unique, and each replacement project is different depending on the type of windows being replaced, the condition of the openings, and the desires of the homeowners for styles and features. Our product specialist will listen and consult with you about product options. Call or request a consultation on our website to schedule a free, no-obligation, in-home design assistance and estimate. What to expect:
On the day of your in-home consultation, we ask that one of the homeowners or decision-makers is present to meet with our sales representative. Our sales representatives often have questions that must be answered to ensure the right products are quoted.

The Woodland specialist will examine your existing windows or doors and take measurements and photographs to provide a rough estimate based on the size of your openings and the options you’re looking for.

Estimates will be provided at the appointment unless additional information is required from our manufacturers, in which case an estimate can usually be provided within 48 hours of the appointment.

Visit Our Showroom

We encourage customers to visit our 2,000 sqft showroom. Most of the products we quote are on display. Design your door in our design center or ‘test drive’ our Marvin Ultimate 14’ X 10’ Multi-slide door. Get color samples or brochures. Your sales representative can also meet you in the showroom to show you the products in your quote and answer questions.

We feature popular replacement window and door brands in the showroom. Stop in to browse, ask questions of our expert staff, or pick up a brochure. You can also download replacement window and door brochures from our website.​

Window Measuring and Ordering Services for Homeowners

Ordering & Measuring

Once you are ready to move forward, you will need to sign the contract. Along with that, each job requires a 40% deposit.

After we receive your signed contract and deposit, you’ll be contacted within 72 hours to schedule a 15 – 60 minute re-measure appointment, depending on the size of your job.

Before placing your order, one of our experienced installers will double-check the precise measurements and make installation notes before the order is sent to the manufacturer.

Window and Door Installation for Homeowners

Installation

We’ll give you a checklist in advance of what you can do to prepare your home for the day of installation. On the appointment day, the crew leader will review the process with you while the crew protects your hallways and work areas. 

How long will the job take? Generally, our installers can replace 3-4 full frame replacement openings daily, and 6-10 insert replacement units per day. There may be exceptions to this, depending on the work that needs to be done. The job site will be cleaned up at the end of each day for multi-day projects, and the crew leader will do a complete walk-through of the work and show you how to operate your new windows and doors. We’ll remove your old windows and clean up. Minor touch-ups can be done that day, or we’ll send a technician back to complete the work.​

Window Coverings

Customers ask us if they can reuse their existing window coverings for their new windows. Generally speaking, window treatments with an outside mount will often still fit your new window. If the window covering has an inside mount, replacing the window frame could be a problem because the new dimensions may differ. Window treatments may or may not work. That can be answered better after seeing what windows you will settle on for your project.​

Follow-Up & Guarantee

Our work will not be done until you’re completely satisfied. If you experience any issues after installation, a Woodland-trained professional service technician will handle the problem.
