Low E Glass
Low remittance glass maximizes your home’s thermal efficiency year-round. Extremely thin coatings of Low E metallic material are applied to glass panes to keep radiant heat on the same side of the glass from which it originated, while letting visible light in. Adjustments to the layers can now get more specific applications to meet exact project needs. All brands offer Low E options.
Inserted in the airspace between glass panes, argon or krypton gases slow the movement of warm and cool air to improve thermal performance.
There is an array of glass types, each one with it’s own attractive texture, pattern, color or opacity. Let light in while maintaining privacy. Variable thickness glazing can provide enhanced sound abatement performance. Tempered and laminate glass for added safety. Performance glass options meet impact resistance requirements. All brands offer some specialty glass options. Samples are available in our showroom.
