When it’s time to replace your windows or doors, our professionals can help you assess your home’s replacement needs based on the condition of your existing windows, the best style for your home and your budget. Start by scheduling an in-home consultation with one of our window experts who can guide and inform you on the best choice for replacement windows. The design decisions include selecting the style, the material, the finish, glass and hardware.
Replacement windows can be either inserts or full frame depending on the material and condition of your existing window frames. There are cost benefits to inserts, which can be installed within the existing frame for wood or aluminum windows. Full frame windows require removing the entire window and frame down to the studs. Although it’s a more expensive replacement, it’s an opportunity to repair any wall, sill or water damage and keep the same glass dimensions of the original window. Woodland offers inserts and full frame options from multiple brands to suit your budget.

New construction windows are available in standard-sizes making them less expensive than replacement windows. They’re designed for a new construction home to be put into the window opening before the rest of the wall is finished around it. The windows come with a nail fin around the exterior frame, which is a thin piece of metal around the perimeter of the window frame that is nailed or screwed directly to the house’s studs. Some remodeling projects will specify new construction windows when the window size is changing or the walls have been opened back to the studs.
Woodland offers a large selection of new construction windows and doors from nearly all our brands. Customers with building projects can also arrange for Woodland or a Woodland Industry Partner to install their new construction windows.
