Argon Gas
Argon gas is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic gas commonly placed between the panes of insulated glass. Because argon is both denser than air and a poorer heat conductor, it reduces convection currents and slows heat transfer more effectively than regular air, helping improve a window's energy performance. It's often paired with Low-E glass to increase comfort throughout the year while reducing heating and cooling demands.
